Total Plastics, an IAPD member for more than 25 years, joins nearly 100 other exhibitors and will be located at booth No. 230. The expo itself brings together a wide cross-section of the industry and was created to help educate and inspire engineers and designers on the benefits of plastics. Representing TPI at the show will be Jeff Zonsius, TPI Chicago branch manager, Mike Liebovich, TPI sales representative, and Zack Loeprich, TPI marketing coordinator.

“The common ground that we share with our competitors is the enthusism for which we adovate and endorse plastics as an alternative material to metal, glass, wood or any other material,” Loeprich said. “This is one of the missions of the expo, to reach businesses and key markets that may not fully grasp the benefits of plastics. With it set in Chicago this year, we have a real opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a fundamentally vital marketplace.”

In addition to a myriad of knowledgable exhibitors and material experts at the IAPD Plastics Expo, the one-day event features a host of technical sessions addressing the use of plastics in various applications, such as in aerospace, manufacturing and life sciences.

The expo, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is a part of the annual IAPD Convention, which is in its 56th year. The four-day event offers attendees a chance to meet with manufacturers, fabricators, distributors and other members of the plastics communities. A host of educational sessions, council meetings and supplier meetings are included in the program.

The plastics expo is free of charge to attend and includes a complimentary lunch and entry into its closing party. Register in advance online through the IAPD website Registration information for the full convention is also available through the IAPD’s website.
