KALAMAZOO, MI., July 24, 2007 – Total Plastics, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Rhode Island Plastics. Rhode Island Plastics is a longstanding distributor to the New England market from its location in Warwick, Rhode Island. This location is Total Plastic’s fifteenth distribution site. This event marks this year’s second venture in Total Plastic’s aggressive market expansion program, which included the opening of its Knoxville branch. The acquisition was closed on July 20, 2007 and the 10,000 square foot facility in Rhode Island will open for business under the “Total Plastics” name on Monday July 23, 2007. “This acquisition is an important part of our growth strategy” says Russ Walters, Vice President of Total Plastics, Inc., “Expanding our presence in New England will strengthen our overall distribution network and improve our ability to serve the marketplace.”
